Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh ethical dan transformational leadership terhadap employee creativity, dengan peran mediasi organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) dan work engagement pada para karyawan UMKM kategori menengah di Indonesia. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS) meggunakan software SmartPLS dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada para karyawan UMKM kategori mikro hingga menengah di seluruh Indonesia yang sudah sudah bekerja minimal 1 tahun. Data ini dikumpulkan pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2022 dengan total keseluruhan responden yaitu 185 orang. Temuan pada studi ini menunjukkan ethical leadership dan transformational leadership memberikan pengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap employee creativity, melalui OCB dan juga work engagement yang tinggi dalam organisasi. Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian maka disarankan para pelaku UMKM agar lebih menekankan pada program pengembangan dan melakukan pelatihan yang tepat bagi para pemimpin maupun para karyawan, untuk memaksimalkan efektivitas kepemimpinan yang dapat membuat karyawan lebih terlibat, memiliki perilaku OCB serta lebih kreatif di tempat kerja.
