Pengembangan Wawasan Global: Keanggotaan Indonesia dalam Forum Multilateral BRICS+ Pada Pelajar MAN 1 Malang

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan global dan pemahaman siswa MAN 1 Malang mengenai posisi Indonesia dalam BRICS+. Program dirancang menggunakan metode partisipatif, meliputi pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan awal, penyampaian materi, diskusi kelompok terarah, role-play mengenai dinamika BRICS+, serta pembuatan poster sebagai ekspresi pemahaman kreatif. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test serta observasi keterlibatan siswa selama aktivitas. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa: jika pada pre-test hanya 18% yang menyatakan pengetahuannya tentang BRICS+ dan 12% dampak bergabungnya Indonesia ke dalam BRICS+, maka pada post-test berturut-turut terjadi peningkatan menjadi 92% dan 88% siswa dapat menjelaskan konsep BRICS, serta menguraikan relevansinya bagi Indonesia. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi, dan kreativitas sebagaimana terlihat dari kualitas diskusi dan produk poster yang dihasilkan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pendekatan edukatif berbasis partisipasi efektif untuk membumikan isu-isu global di lingkungan sekolah serta dapat menjadi model diseminasi pengetahuan politik luar negeri bagi pelajar menengah guna membentuk generasi muda yang adaptif dan berwawasan global.
