Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mahasiswa sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan soft skill communication dalam penulisan artikel, yang belum optimal dalam mendukung kesiapan akademik maupun profesional. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah penerapan pemodelan dan simulasi sistem berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang adaptif, interaktif, dan berbasis skenario komunikasi nyata. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, perancangan model simulasi komunikasi berbasis AI, implementasi sistem simulasi interaktif, serta pelatihan dan pendampingan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan sistem tersebut. Selanjutnya dilakukan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan pelatihan diikuti mahasiswa magister Universitas Teknologi Malaysia yang berminat mempelajari pemodelan dan simulasi berbasis AI. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan pengembangan ketrampilan dan kreatifitas dalam memodelkan dan simulasi sistem dengan Penguatan Soft skill Communication berbasis AI. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan simulasi berbasis AI mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa secara signifikan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan komunikasi sebesar 45%, setelah mengikuti program pengabdian masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak konkret berupa peningkatan kompetensi komunikasi mahasiswa yang lebih adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan dunia kerja.
