Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Keagamaan Sebagai Media Membangun Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Kelas Vii Di Mts Nurul Zholam Kabupaten Seruyan

The purpose of this study is to describe Religious Extracurricular Activities as a Media to Build the Confidence of Grade VII Students at Mts Nurul Zholam, Seruyan Regency. This research is a field research and uses a qualitative approach. Field research is to produce descriptive data, which is to try to describe and analyze the events or behaviors of a group of people observed in the form of understood written words and sentences. This research is qualitative descriptive, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from the observed objects and respondents. The object of this research is MTs Nurul Zholam which is located at Jl. Pematang Anglai Rt 11 Rw 03, Seruyan Regency, Prov. Central Kalimantan. The subjects of this research are grade VII students, as well as those who are informants of accompanying teachers (3 people), students, and the Head of Madrasas. As for the data collection techniques in this study, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps of data analysis are first by grouping data, data reduction, data presentation and finally verification or conclusion. The results of this study show that the existence of Religious Extracurricular Activities is able to be a medium for building student confidence at MTs Nurul Zholam Seruyan Regency, because extracurricular activities provide a forum for students to train their confidence through religious extracurricular activities, one of which is Muhadarah.
