Abstract

Peran PKRS sangat penting dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan di mana sesuai dengan value penting dari kegiatan promosi kesehatan adalah membuat sasaran berdaya untuk mencapai derajat kesehatan yang optimal. Petugas promosi kesehatan akan menjadi elemen penting dalam kampanye gerakan kesehatan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang pelaksanaan program promosi kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Siaga Al Munawwarah. Jenis pengabdian ini kualitataif   deskriptif   dengan pedekatan   observasi   dan wawancara dengan petugas TIM PKRS. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa terdapat program promosi kesehatan belum berjalan dengan optimal dikarenakan masi kurangnya tenaga kesehatan khusus bagian PKRS sehingga petugas masi kurang kompeten, belum optimal dalam menjalankan SOP. Rekomendasi yang diberikan yaitu dengan dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap program kerja PKRS secara rutin, melakukan penilaian dan reward/punishment terhadap hasil kerja, Melakukan Edukasi, penyuluhan terkait kesehatan kepada pasien dan masyarakat, pelatihan untuk petugas yang belum memiliki pengalaman kerja 2 tahun.
